Three vehicle collision involving two OPP cruisers under investigation

RENFREW COUNTY (Petawawa) — On September 25, just before 3:00 p.m., members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a three vehicle collision on Petawawa Boulevard at the entrance to the Petawawa Market Mall. The collision involved two OPP cruisers and one passenger van. Four involved persons have been taken to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.

Officers are currently on scene investigating and the westbound lane of Petawawa Boulevard is closed at this time due to the investigation. Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays in the area and drivers are asked to take an alternate route if possible. An update will follow when further information becomes available.
