Seven charged in drug bust

PEMBROKE — Seven people have been charged after a drug bust in which police say they seized six pounds of marijuana.

The Pembroke home was raided on Tuesday, March 6, where police say in addition to the pot, they found various other types of drugs including methamphetmaine, along with cash and a cell phone.

45-year-old Michael Christink and 42-year-old Paul Christink, both of Pembroke, are charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a schedule II drug for the purpose of trafficking. The others, 45-year-old Jason Bergeron, 22-year-old Brett Christink, 19-year-old Dylan Poole of Pembroke, 43-year-old Jon Garry Cooligan of Deep River and a 26-year-old Whitewater Region man are all charged with possession of methamphetamine and cannabis marihuana. All will appear in court on Tuesday, May 8th.
