Police seek assistance to ID persons of interest

WHITEWATER REGION — The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s assistance in a theft investigation.

The investigation began in mid-August 2019 after a wallet containing credit cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in Laurentian Valley Township. On August 17, at just before 10:00 p.m. there was an attempt to use the stolen credit cards at a bank machine in Whitewater Region. 

The OPP is seeking assistance from the public to identify the persons in the photos. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP at 613-732-3332 or Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.valleytips.ca.
